What is the maximum amount I can withdraw from an ATM in one day?
The maximum daily ATM withdrawal from an ATM is $500.00. If you need to withdraw an excess of this amount, please visit a branch.
For your convenience, we participate in shared branching MoneyPass. As a result, you can conduct business on your American National Bank of Minnesota accounts at other banks and ATMs throughout the country as though you were at your local branch!
Use your American National Bank of Minnesota Debit Card nationwide, and if you are charged a surcharge fee by another financial institution or the owner of the ATM, just bring in the receipt to a branch within 60 days of the transaction. You may also mail the original receipt to us and we will refund your fee to your ANBMN account!
Where are your ATMs located?
American National Bank of Minnesota does not own any ATM’s. However, we will reimburse any fee charged at an ATM if you bring in their receipt to one of our branches.

Can I make ATM deposits?
Yes, you may! To find a deposit-taking ATM near you, please use our MoneyPass ATM locator pages. You will find a listing of thousands of surcharge-free and deposit-taking ATMs throughout the country.
Please note that ATM deposits made are typically made available the next business day.
You can also make deposits electronically using mobile deposit within our mobile banking app.
Don’t have access to mobile banking yet?
Enroll through Online Banking to get started. Just click the User Options menu and select ‘Enroll Now’ under the Mobile Banking Profile. You’ll then enroll any mobile device you would like to access mobile banking from, and a download link will be sent right to your devices! No need to search the App store to find the correct application.
My card is being denied at the merchant, what do I do?
There can be several reasons that a card would be denied. For security reasons, the specifics of your situation must be dealt with in confidence.
During business hours, please contact us to reach one of our customer service representatives. or visit a branch location to go over your transaction history.
How do I order a new debit card?
To order a new debit card, please contact us or visit one of our branch locations.
If you believe your card has been lost or stolen, please contact a customer representative straight away at 1.833.664.0358 to protect your accounts.
Are there any service fees for ATM withdrawals?
If you are a customer of our bank, this service is free!
- If you are a customer of a Share Branch Network, then it is free for you as well!
- If you use your Debit card, you can also receive cash back at no charge when you use it at a retail location.
The only time you will be assessed a fee is when you withdraw cash from an ATM that is not in our network.

Who do I call if my card is restricted?
There could be a number of reasons you are receiving a “restricted” error at the ATM. Please contact us to reach one of our customer service representatives and resolve your issue.

What do I do if my personal identification number (PIN) does not work?
If you would like to reset your PIN or your PIN is not working, please call the number on the back of your card – 800.992.3808.
You can also visit one of our branch locations and select a PIN of your choice, or have a PIN reminder mailed to you.
What ATM network do you use?
We use STAR and Money Pass.

How much does it cost to replace my debit card?
There is $5.00 fee per replacement for lost debit cards.
You can learn about our current rates by contacting your nearest branch or 1.800.940.8445 (Toll-Free).
To report a lost or stolen debit card after business hours, please contact a customer representative straight away at 1.800.535.8440 to protect your accounts.
How do I change my personal identification number (PIN) for my debit card?
For new debit card holders, a unique Personal Identification Number (PIN) will be mailed to you separately from your debit card. At the time of activation, you will be able to set your own PIN.
If you are an established cardholder and either don’t know or have forgotten your PIN for your debit card please contact us. To expedite the process please be sure to have your debit card available.
You can also visit one of our branch locations and select a PIN of your choice if you have forgotten or would like to change your PIN number.
What do I do if the ATM does not dispense the money I asked for and the funds have been deducted from my account?
If the ATM is that of another financial institution you will need to contact them to resolve the issue.
